As part of our ongoing agricultural support program, more than 2,000 bundles of TME419 cassava stems were supplied to local farmers across Obi and Gwer West LGAs.
The TME419 variety is well-known for its high yield, early maturity, and disease resistance, making it ideal for both consumption and industrial starch production.
Farmers were educated on best planting practices, weed management, and post-harvest handling to ensure optimal yields.
The initiative is expected to significantly improve cassava production and strengthen food security within the local communities.
